Architecture is an expression of the people who occupy it. Each project is as unique, personal and individual as its client. Based on that belief we resist the pressure to undertake the same project type repeatedly. We are careful and responsive listeners. We learn how our clients live and work, and what they value. Our expertise, therefore, comes not through repetition, but through our ability to pursue fresh, creative solutions for our clients. We have been educated as creative problem-solvers, and we engage architecture as both science and poetry.

We are convinced that excess is damaging both to the individual and to the planet we share. We propose that quality of space and craft of building matter more than square footage and expensive materials. We are passionately committed to the responsible and appropriate stewardship of our clients’ resources, be they great or small. Whatever the budget, we help our clients determine how to use their resources to greatest effect based on their needs, desires, and vision for how they want to live and work in the world. This is the goal of architecture.
