Joshua's Farm
1,800 sf horse run-in & feeding stalls
Joshua’s Farm is a non-profit organization offering therapeutic horseback riding for mentally and physically disabled children and adults. The 1,800 sf horse run-in is similar to a barn but is accessible to the horses for protection from inclement weather at all times. It houses a tack room, space for hay storage, and eight feeding stalls configured to open onto three separate pastures. A road bisects the building to allow trucks to deliver hay and feed. The run-in was built with discounted and donated materials and constructed with volunteer labor. These considerations were primary to the design. |
