Betsy West, AIA

Betsy West has been with studio 1 architects since its inception. Betsy is a native of North Carolina who received her Bachelor of Architecture at North Carolina State University and her Master of Architecture at Yale University. She practiced full time for several years before becoming a tenured faculty member in the College of Arts & Architecture at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She has received several design awards for her work, the most recent being the Faith & Form Excellence in Design Award for a memorial garden and columbarium for St Patrick's Episcopal Mission in Mooresville, NC. She practices with studio 1 architects on a part-time basis.
